Actor Jeremy Renner, known for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has given an update on his recovery after being hospitalized for injuries from a snowplow accident on New Year’s Day. In a tweet on January 16th, Renner revealed that he had been discharged from the hospital and was able to watch the season premiere of his show “Mayor of Kingstown” with his family at home. He also shared on Instagram that he was missing his “happy place” and reminded fans to be safe in snowy weather. Renner expressed his gratitude to the medical staff who treated him and received support from his fellow Marvel actors, including Chris Evans and Paul Bettany, as well as directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo.
In addition to his message of thanks to the medical staff and well-wishes from his colleagues in the industry, Renner also shared a photo of himself in his hospital bed on January 6th. He captioned the post, “Thank you Renowned Medical ICU team for beginning this journey.” This message was met with an outpouring of support from fans and friends alike, who were relieved to hear that the actor was on the road to recovery.
The accident, which occurred on New Year’s Day, was reportedly caused by a snowplow and resulted in injuries severe enough to require hospitalization.
